Printing from Different Devices

Using the Canon Print app made printing photos and documents straightforward. Here’s how I used it:

For photos: The app let me print various sizes and create collages.
From my Mac: Printing required a Wi-Fi connection. Since the printer doesn’t support direct cables for Macs, I had to disconnect from my home Wi-Fi to connect to the printer’s network.

Despite this small inconvenience, the print quality was impressive. Photos printed from my phone looked just as good as those from my camera.

Ink Refills and Costs

The cost of ink refills is surprisingly reasonable:

Black ink: R270 per bottle
Color ink: R180 per bottle (cyan, magenta, yellow)

The initial ink supply is expected to last over a year, even with regular use. Refilling the ink tanks is easy. Just pour the ink into the jars, and the printer automatically calibrates. A front display shows the ink levels, so you’ll know when it’s time to refill.
