The MX515 prints text quickly but is slow with graphics. It printed our color graphics test at just 2.3 pages per minute. Each postcard-sized photo took three minutes to print. The print quality is good, with bright colors on plain paper. Double-sided prints were slower and looked fainter. Printing 10 sides of color on five pages took six minutes and 26 seconds.

Scanning and Copying

The scanner works well, especially with a wired connection. It scanned a 600dpi photo in just 21 seconds.The scanner captured sharp images with accurate colors. It only struggled with the darkest shades in our test.
